I am starting this blog with aim to reach out people and share my experience and knowledge with them. It will be journey together with mothers/ parents like me, having daily share of happiness; more of heartburn behind which "the happiness","the joy of motherhood/ parenthood" gets crumpled in the corner, somewhere difficult to search...!
If one has a different way of learning does not mean he/ she needs to suffer at school. There are beautiful ways which can make your little one do better in class.

No! don't let it get lost under the daily chore of problems. It engulfs so much that parents forget these are the little ones they longed for.....
Well, I will come to the specifics, it will interest you if you are the one facing problem which is similar as given here;
Your little one is generally smart, curious, appears bright among his peers, but when the little one goes to school the teacher does not seem to have same opinion! his enthusiasm goes missing when you try to introduce him to reading or writing, though he loves mom/ dad read to him, but alphabets do not seem to be his friends! the story could be similar with numbers too.... sequencing, identifying letters with sounds, may be a difficult bet. On other hand to figure out how to fix a gadget or how the gizmo works is just so simple! At times you are amazed by his emotional depth, his imagination which makes you wonder; Were you thinking like him at that age?... but then why my precious honey not writing, reading or doing math!! What not is tried with him; rote repetition drills, phonics etc etc.. nothing seems to work for little Johnny!
Johnny is not lazy, or slow or stupid.. he just thinks differently... which may pose difficulty in school work or reading/ writing. He just needs the right aid.

May be little Johnny has a specific way of thinking and that way poses difficulty in a regular cookie cutter methods of learning and is gets termed as dyslexia/ dysgraphia/ dyscalculia.
There is nothing to worry about, but get the right help. Prevent the self esteem of your child from going down the gutter, do not label him with titles or burden with multiple assessments. It can simply extinguish the joy of childhood if not handled right way. The little one may turn into a bully or may just remain in his shell.. both the cases he is bruised, not knowing why the world gets mad it him!

As a parent we can give one precious gift to our kids and that is genuine appreciation, find out what they are good at and appreciate that.. boost their confidence. World is out there to pull them down only you can tell them how wonderful they are...
